In the Implementation Studio, we explored geometric forms to design emergency sleeping capsules for post-disaster scenarios. Inspired by the folding fan’s pivot mechanism, our team developed a compact, deployable capsule for earthquake survivors. Designed for easy extraction from residential structures, it enables individuals to assemble their own shelter in real-time emergencies, prioritizing adaptability, efficiency, and human-centered resilience.
